In recent news, charity Age UK highlighted that many older residents are missing out on the opportunity to claim payment protection compensation.

It was noted that many older people are put off making a claim by cold callers and automated machine calls.

At We Fight Any Claim we only contact our perspective customers if they have already agreed with a third party source that they would in fact like us to contact them. We believe that the first contact we have with any perspective customer should be done in both a friendly and professional manner. Therefore, we do not contact anybody using an automated machine or anyone who has not previously opted in to receive a telephone call from one of our advisors.  As highlighted within the article, this can often be deemed as a non legitimate business call or scam.

Denise Mckenzie from Age UK Hammersmith and Fulham is convinced that more should be done to make the older generation aware that they could be entitled to claim mis-sold payment protection insurance. Denise also urged those in doubt to contact the Financial Ombudsman.
